4th Annual Brad Mates/E-Drive Charity Golf Tournament
Lead vocalist Brad Mates and his bandmates have taken on Parkinson's Research as one of their main charity causes already raising over $250,000 for the University of Alberta Hospital's Parkinson's Research Fund in only three years! The fourth annual promises to move the foundation even closer to their $500,000 goal.
* The 2010 Golf Tournament takes place on Wednesday, September 15th in Grande Prairie, Alberta (Brad's hometown).
Compassion International
Emerson Drive recently traveled to San Salvador, El Salvador with executives from Compassion International. After experiencing first hand the daily lives of the children in Compassion International's programs the band is excited about their new partnership with this very worthwhile organization.
The guys in the band are hopeful that through their involvement with Compassion more children will receive a sponsor who will provide much needed medical care and education to kids who are in such desperate need.

Grande Prairie Regional College Emerson Drive Scholarship Program
Over a decade ago, in the early days of Emerson Drive's career, they were proud to establish the Emerson Drive Scholarship Program that assists students attending Grande Prairie Regional College with their education expenses.
The scholarship program has grown so much over the last couple of years that the band is now working with the college to fund a recording studio that will be available to help with the development of musical performers and technicians.
Each year Emerson Drive invites a few celebrity friends to join them in Grande Prairie, Alberta for a fun night filled with great music at the Performing Arts Center on Grande Prairie Regional College's campus. This year's event will take place on Tuesday, September 15th. More details coming soon!
